The state Department of Transportation announces the following roadwork for today through Friday, weather permitting:

• On Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) near Kalopa, alternating lane closures in both directions between Kahawai Road and Hauola Road, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., daily, for shoulder paving.

• On Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270), alternating single-lane closures in both directions in the vicinity of Hawi to Kapaau, between milepost markers 21 and 24, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., daily, for roadway reconstruction.

• On Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190), alternating lane closures in both directions south of the Waikoloa Road intersection, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for roadway widening.

• On Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) in Makalei, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Uluoa Street and Old Kona Village Road, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for pavement striping and guardrail installation.

• On Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) near Captain Cook, alternating lane closures in both directions between Kiloa Road and Rabbit Hill Road, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for guardrail installation.

• On Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) near Kainaliu, alternating lane closures in both directions near milepost marker 114, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for guardrail installation.
